This has been a remarkable year of continuing to keep my balance on the ‘cyber’ tight ropes! It’s paid off because the page rank for this blog is now at TWO and that’s in large part to setting up a blogging schedule, reading tons of blogging and other ‘techie’ articles, but most importantly, I owe much of what I have learned this year to the love notes received from my Networking Together Friends.

I am delighted to introduce Taylor McCoy. Taylor and I met through our Networking Together group on Facebook and have discovered we have a lot in common….We share a Performing Artist background, Handcraft Artisanship and we are both of the ‘chic age’.
Our Networking Together group is ‘by invitation only’ and everyone participates at his own level of comfort. Members brainstorm new social marketing ideas together, share tips and articles about social networking and protocol, teach one another new skills. We collectively appreciate that there are NO mistakes or stupid questions, only opportunities for learning.
Is is perfect? No! Is there a core group of active members? Yes! Will some members drop out or think the group is some ‘magic pill for powerful sales’ and become discouraged when sales seem illusive? A blog is like sour dough starter. Once made, you must regularly feed it! From what I have learned as a participant in the Etsy Success Holiday Boot Camp, it also means you need to ‘blog with meaningful content’. That is to say, offer something of substance with perhaps a craft tutorial, a recipe or inspirational quote of the day.
