What You Will Need

Trifle Bowl

Here’s one from Crate-N-Barrel, but you can also find one at Pier 1 and several other outlets.

Star Cookie Cutter

I purchased my ‘Starcutter’ from Martha Stewart Living years ago, but they are still available on Ebay and Etsy.

Screen Shot 2013-06-29 at 5.54.35 PMFYI: After eyeballing the big Starcutter, I realised the Starcake slices were not going to fit into the trifle bowl! I found a smaller Starcutter yesterday at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Yay!!

Fresh Berries and Whipped Cream

Just click the photo of the Patriotic Trifle for the recipe from Eat Yourself Skinny.

Customized Recipe

Pound cake-cut slices thick enough to accommodate the Starcutter

Skip the sugar-free vanilla pudding and raspberry jam

Add Oregon Strawberries and Blueberries

Serve with a scoop of Costco’s Vanilla ice cream

Happy 4th of July!
