Handmade Spark Ignites September 2010

My father-in-law had a favorite way of expressing appreciation or offering a compliment.  I think I would be spot on to say that if Jack was alive today he would have responded to this post with a “Bow Wow!”

  1. Very nice. It just goes to show that if you are driven, persistent, work hard, have a GREAT product and have something worthwhile to say, they will come. Here’s to a great 2011.

  2. i had occasion in 2010 to give out a half dozen beautiful Hide-A-Hearts to family and friends who were facing huge health issues or otherwise tough times and needed some encouragement. Every single person was just blown away with the simple beauty of both the product and the emotions it evoked. I got a lot of undeserved kudos for my wonderful idea – so I did the right thing and told them all how Hide-A-Heart came about, and that I was only lucky enough to have known about it at their time of need. I intend to purchase more, to have on hand when I learn of someone who needs this “hug.” They are reasonably priced, very appropriate, and convey warmth and love to the recipient. How good is that?
